It took artist Sean Martindale 24 hours one chilly Canadian night to install his latest outdoor art piece entitled 'Free'. Viewed from the side, the structure looks like a forty-four-foot-long stringed instrument, but from the front, it clearly spells one evocative word: FREE.

Using more than 21,663 feet of salvaged string the artist is pleased that "so far, the squirrels haven’t chewed on it for their nests…"
